About the London School of Architecture
The London School of Architecture is a new school for a new century. Designed for students with independent minds not independent means, our educational model seeks to prepare students for the profession of tomorrow.
Academia and Practice are brought closer together through an educational model unique to the profession. In their Inter-Practice year the students are employed in three-day per week, 12-month placements hosted by one of the practices in our network; on the other two days per week they work on LSA projects. In their Proto-Practice year, students will spend five days per week with the LSA developing individual thesis design projects.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Because the LSA is brand new, we cannot yet access money from the state for living costs, which are very high in London. Sadly, many of us really need your help to be able to complete the course.
Donors receive a range of rewards including limited-edition artworks from the Turner Prize-winning Assemble, renowned designer Nigel Coates, Royal Academicians Farshid Moussavi and Will Alsop, and RIBA Gold Medal-winners Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and Cullinan Studio. Whether you can pledge £1 or £10,000, your donation would be hugely appreciated! Thank you for any support you can give
